Leverage Google Ads Scripts with ChatGPT - Live Workshop
Reading time: 4 minutes
Hey, Arjan here!
This is my first blog post, so stay with me!
2nd PPC Mastery meetup
On June 22, 50 Google Ads specialists came to the PPC Mastery meetup in Utrecht. It was the second meetup hosted by Bob & Miles.
Miles McNair invited me to speak at the meetup, and it was a pleasure to speak to all who attended.
At the meetup, I gave a live workshop where I shared my insights on leveraging ChatGPT with Google Ads.
While I’ve got a list of 20+ things to improve for next time, the feedback was heartening.
Bob showed a case study on combining AI with product feed optimization.
He has created a Google Ads script that allows you to enable or disable search ad groups based on store inventory.
While the experiment isn’t completed, give him a follow for when it is.
He will certainly share his results.
Meanwhile, Ruben shared the importance of a basic marketing strategy.
Many marketers make the mistake of not knowing the break-even roas or the right target roas.
With his created calculator, you can calculate your break-even and target roas.
The calculator can be found here.
Live workshop: what I talked about
In my workshop, I demonstrated how to use ChatGPT to create Google Ad scripts.
I explained why AI is important and why every Google Ads specialist should care.
After getting some script ideas from the audience, I started the demonstration.
Not everything went well and ChatGPT gave the wrong answer.
Since I understand how I could fix that, I showed this to the audience.
After a 20-minute demonstration, I concluded the presentation.
Live workshop: the resources
Many have asked if I could share the presentation and prompts.
I am happy to share them here.
In the near future I will explore more ways on how to use ChatGPT for Google Ads.
If you want to follow my progress and insights do follow me here.
You can view the presentation here.
